Formula tables

Superheated steam tables

Pick the table for your pressure, then the row for your temperature. The first row of each table is saturated vapour at that pressure. Volume in m³/kg, enthalpy in kJ/kg, entropy in kJ/(kg·K).

Notes

Every value is computed from IAPWS-IF97, the industrial standard for water and steam properties, and checked against the verification values the standard publishes.

Above 16.5 MPa the tables start above the boiling point, because near the critical point the standard uses a different equation. For the same reason there is no saturation row at 20 and 30 MPa.

For values between rows, interpolate linearly between the two neighbouring rows, or compute them directly with the steam calculator.
